Daily Adventures

Outside Expeditions has day trips for all levels and abilities - come kayak and bike with us! With two great locations, kayakers and cyclists can experience the rugged beauty of the North Shore or explore the protected river mouth of Brudenell Provincial Park. Novice kayakers and families will appreciate our 1 ½ hour Beginner's Bay tour, a great introduction to paddling in a sheltered bay. Or try the 3-hour Harbour Passage tour, where we venture into the Gulf of St. Lawrence and kayak below the cliffs of PEI National Park. Paddlers ready to spend more time on the water may want to try a full-day sealwatching tour in Brudenell Provincial Park, or paddle up the tranquil Clyde River for a gourmet lunch at the PEI Preserve Company. Our experienced, safety-conscious guides provide you with all the necessary gear and basic paddling instruction to get you started. Once on the water, you'll learn some fun facts about the Island - maybe you can help us figure out how the soil here got to be so red?

Both our locations provide excellent cycling. The Confederation Trail runs right past Brudenell Provincial Park, providing a gently-graded, traffic-free bike route into Georgetown. In North Rustico, a paved road with a wide shoulder leads through the National Park and into Cavendish, winding along the top of some of the Island's highest sandstone cliffs. Join us for a guided tour at either location, or rent one of our hybrid bicycles and explore each route on your own time.
